Manpower Inc. Executives Take on Expanded Responsibility
MILWAUKEE, Wis. Jan. 16 2009. Manpower Inc. (NYSE: MAN), a world leader in the employment services industry; today announced several appointments which expand the responsibilities of members of the company's executive management team. These changes are designed to align Manpower's strategy with the current state of the market. The changes took effect on January 1.

- Jonas Prising has been appointed Executive Vice President, President of the Americas, responsible for the United States and Canada as well as Central and South America. He most recently served at President - Manpower North America and joined the company in 1999.
- Mara Swan has been appointed to Executive Vice President - Global Strategy and Talent. Swan served as Senior Vice President - Global Human Resources since joining the company in 2005.
- Darryl Green has been appointed Executive Vice President, President - Asia Pacific and Middle East. He served as President - Asia Pacific Operations since joining the company in 2007.
- David Arkless has been appointed to President - Global Corporate and Government Affairs. He most recently served as Senior Vice President - Corporate Affairs and has been with the company since 1992.
- Emma van Rooyen has been appointed Senior Vice President - Chief Marketing Officer. Van Rooyen served as Vice President - Global Marketing since joining the company in February 2008.
- Denis Edwards has been appointed Vice President - Global Chief Information Officer, having previously served as Vice President - Global Solutions Delivery. Edwards joined the company in 2007.
