MILWAUKEE, Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ManpowerGroup (NYSE: MAN), the world leader in innovative workforce solutions, today announced the appointment of Richard Buchband as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, effective immediately. Buchband will serve as ManpowerGroup's General Counsel and lead the company's overall legal strategy and function, as well as managing corporate governance and securities. He will report directly to Jeffrey A. Joerres, ManpowerGroup Chairman and CEO.

Buchband previously served as Partner and Associate General Counsel for Accenture plc, a $28 billion consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. He also served as Senior Corporate Counsel and Secretary for global travel company Orbitz, Inc. and as an independent legal consultant. Buchband graduated from Princeton University with a BA Degree in 1985 and also holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
